Installation Overview
Getting up and running with ConVirt can be very quick and painless. If your goal is just to manage your workstation, just install the ConVirt client and you are done! On the other hand, if you intend to manage a large environment with multiple, remote servers, you'll first need to take a few simple steps to prepare those servers for management by ConVirt.

For ConVirt to work, you need KVM-70 or higher installed on the managed server. Check your distribution to see if it already has KVM-70 or higher available as an rpm or deb package in the repository. Check out the Virtualization KVM link. Otherwise, download it from the KVM downloads page.
